Title: Silent Snow (The Best I've Ever Known) | Submitted by: dswain | Written by: Doug Swain | Style: Renewal and Decay

As the bell strikes five o'clock
The subtle yet mercy-less brease
Knocks yet another pedal off the rose of life

As the pedal hits the ground
Clouds appear
And the night has now begun

As it returns to its home and decays back to the start
The evening gets cold and lonely
Now the dead of night is set

Now a flood of emotion sets it
And yet, a drought of expression
These visions and feelings are left to dangle in the jungle

Only one solution, one hope left to find
One true sign for the time
Soft, silent snow (the best I've ever known)

Now let this pedal grace the ground all it touches
But don't let it freeze, that's not the way she wants to be
As the morning sun rises and clears the entire sky blue.
