Title: nameless | Submitted by: cmh502 | Written by: Chris H | Style: None

I lie in bed, with loneliness by my side
in hopes that this moment will learn to pass by
but most often it does not, leaving me here
withering away, by this tempremental fear

I catch moments of beauty, near and far
to reach outside myself to a neighboring star
and when the star chooses to burn so bright
I thank her in dreams, which I vision during the night

This neverending feeling
caught up in the web
and projected to the ceiling
although this ceiling has forgotten it's roof
and I am left floating alone and aloof

there is a girl
or a women i should remain nameless
for her beauty is captured by the unmarked angels
these angels which come to dance and sing
silently on my doorstep, I hear not a ring
for when I awake, I am left with a sorrow
that will continue and grow onward till tommorrow..

What is it you ask
that makes me keep trying
the flame that's been ignited
or the baby which ceases it's crying
the colors of the rainbow
or the pastures down below
the ocean in it's glory
or the sun rays faceless glow
the forest in the winter
or the midnight summer sky
this one waking moment I hope for not a single painful lie..
