a bird in flight
invisible canopy, priceless precision
watch as it flaps it's wings with carefree motion
living moment to moment

in search of food,
perhaps a mate
gullible by nature
as creatures from afar appeal to the eye

one last cycle and the bird settles down
restless throughout the day, finally coming to nestle
the bird shall begin it's daily pursuit once again
for now, it shall rest it's weary head
