In a lifetime where direction is not what it seems
In a place where all rights can be wronged
And all seems to walk and wander with a blank stare
There comes every soul, and each holds a small candle
A sign, a metaphore
For all that may or may not be
They're a sign, a sign of a struggle
A struggle that seems to say "All are wrong and I am always right"
One step forward for you
Is a step back and behind for them
A rare and thing your own turned into a mere stone
But don't let the others stop you
Ones light radiates outward
To help one grow inward
And let all minds overcome, and simply flow

And we all hope that all may follow, someday
