Title: Blue Stetches | Submitted by: dswain | Written by: Doug Swain | Style: None

Wait a while
Study these blue stetches
Upon these chairs
And upon these walls

A fast motion outside these halls
There and gone in the blink of an eye
A person enters and another leaves
A stream of subtle life, so it seems

We watch and we wait
We can ask a million questions
And fight passionatly at the gate
Yet we all have the exact same fate

The blue steches on the wall tells the same story
Of every person to pass through these halls
Have these battles, question these morals
The blue stetches try to tell you it's never too late

You stand up, its your turn now
You know the story, you know the steches
Yet somehow you stand up and elect to wait
Blue stetches will be glad to tell you
But blue stetches cannot dictate
